DECIDE SUCCESS is just as applicable to a student, someone starting out in the workforce or even someone taking up a new sport or hobby.

Baumann nominated as Faculty Favorite
Saturday, November 5th, 2011Faculty Favorite Awards
John Baumann – Accountancy – College of Business – An amazing teacher who truly teaches what the students need to know outside of class. He is very inspiring and someone who deserves this award.
Each year, the Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning asks UofL students to nominate faculty, staff, and graduate teaching assistants who make a significant difference in their learning and intellectual growth. Nominees exemplify the true spirit of teaching and learning through the eyes of their students. Using an online nomination process that is open to all students at the end of fall and spring semesters, students submit nominations and comments about their favorite teachers.
Recognition
All faculty, staff, and graduate teaching assistants who receive nominations receive a formal letter of recognition from the Provost, along with a certificate, and are invited to attend the Faculty Favorite Reception, to be held on November 7, 2011, at the University Club.
All students who submitted a nomination are also invited to attend the reception to celebrate and honor their faculty favorite. Individual student nominations are also posted on the Faculty Favorite Awards website.
Additionally, faculty, staff, and graduate teaching assistants who receive the most nominations are formally recognized in a video presentation that premieres at the Delphi Center’s annual Celebration of Teaching and Learning. The video features the “top” nominees (instructors are eligible every four years) and a selection of students who submitted a nomination on their behalf. This year’s Celebration will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Shelby Campus.

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010John Baumann, Proud Person with Parkinsons, will be presenting “Reclaiming Posi-spective: The Power of Positive” as the Closing Call to Action at the Living Well with Parkinson’s Symposium in Louisville, Kentucky on November 15, 2010.
